Larry Smith of the Portland Dahlia Society and board member of ADS, was recently interviewed on Garden Time, a TV show carried on several channels in the Northwest. Larry introduced the viewers to micro dahlias. See the interview here.
At the 2019 Spring Planning Meeting, attendees viewed a presentation on judging and classifying the color characteristic of dahlias. It is with deepest regret that Central States Dahlia Society and the Southtown Dahlia Club report the passing of Frank Campise. Frank was a longtime member of both Chicago-based societies as well as the American Dahlia Society. He passed at 87 years (young) after a determined battle against cancer.
