2010 American Dahlia Society At Large Membership Information

The American Dahlia Society operates on a calendar year basis.The 2010 membership year extends from January 1 through December 31, 2010 regardless of when you pay your 2010 dues. All ADS members receive 4 issues of the Bulletin of the American Dahlia Society (March, June, September, and December).

All NEW and renewing 2010 ADS members will receive the 2010 Classification and Handbook of Dahlias with their December 2009 ADS Bulletin.

The ADS encourages local dahlia society membership by offering a reduced membership rate to members of local dahlia societies. A list of these local societies and contacts is available here.

Basic USA At Large Memberships are:
Individual Membership (1-person & 1-Classification book ) $23.00
Family Membership (2-people, 2-Classification books) $26.00
*For USA Snow Bird Option or Full Year First Class Mail Add $10.00 (The Snow Bird option is REQUIRED for any ADS member using more than one regular address during the year).

Canada or Mexico Memberships:
Includes mandatory first Class Postage.
Individual Membership (1-person & 1-Classification book ) $33.00
Family Membership (2-people, 2-Classification books) $36.00

International Memberships:
Includes mandatory first Class Postage.
Individual Membership (1-person & 1-Classification book ) $48.00

The ADS is a 501(c)(3) tax deductible organization. All dues payments in excess of the basic Membership & Shipping costs are deductible for income tax purposes. The ADS encourages those who are financially able to renew at a higher level to help support ADS projects.

A Patron Membership is $50. A Benefactor Membership is $100. Patron and Benefactor Memberships are both family memberships and include 2 Classification Books and First Class mail for the December Bulletin and Classification Book.

We also encourage donations (tax deductible) to the ADS for dahlia research projects approved by the ADS Executive Committee. Such projects currently include an ADS-sponsored fertilizer efficiency project, as well as a virus research project at Washington State University.

*The ADS Snow Bird service. As a special service, the ADS offers a Snow Bird option ($10.00) for members who regularly use more than one address during the year. We change the address and send all publications by first class mail. Mailings outside of the USA already require First Class Mail service, so there is no extra charge for this service.
